Meet The Founder

My name is Justin Campbell and I’m the founder of Equalized Outdoors. I grew up in rural Virginia, spending my days hunting and fishing with my grandfather and uncles. They passed down traditions that gave me a love for the outdoors and a sense of belonging I might never have found otherwise. Without them, I wouldn’t be living this lifestyle — and their influence is the foundation of everything I’m building today.

I went on to serve eight years in the U.S. Army, with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, before being honorably discharged. After my service, I spent more than a decade working in corporate IT, learning discipline, resilience, and problem-solving in new ways. But above all of that, my greatest role is being a father. My family means more to me than any business, and Equalized Outdoors is as much about creating opportunities for my children and future generations as it is about telling my own story.

This brand brings together everything that shaped me — family traditions, military service, fatherhood, technical skills, and creativity. Equalized Outdoors is my way of honoring where I came from while making sure the outdoors becomes a place where every voice is represented, every family feels welcome, and every story has a place.
