Sound Off Sundays Rolls Royce B***h

By: Justin "MrJayCam" Campbell | Equalized Outdoors

Welcome to Sound Off Sundays, where rhythm meets reflection. Each week, MrJayCam shares a track that fuels his grind and mindset — blending hip-hop, R&B, and other genres, sometimes with real-life lessons from the woods to the world. Tap in for authentic sound, culture, and purpose-driven storytelling that goes beyond the outdoors.

“Rolls Royce Bitch” — 2 Chainz

As the cold settles in and the year winds down, conversations about growth, discipline, and elevation become more real. And there’s no better soundtrack for that mindset than “Rolls Royce Bitch” by 2 Chainz—a record built on self-belief, unapologetic confidence, and the kind of bravado you only earn after surviving everything meant to stop you.

From the opening lines—“Believe in yourself, who else gon believe in you?”—Chainz sets the tone. The song isn’t about the car; it’s about conviction. It’s about carrying yourself like someone who knows exactly what they bring to the table. Someone who has put in the work. Someone who doesn’t need external validation to move as they’ve already arrived.

Throughout the track, Chainz mixes humor, lived experience, and swagger in a way only he can:

  • Counting money with his feet up.

  • Pulling the baddest woman in the room.

  • Moving with God as his co-sign.

  • Evolving from crossover handles on the court to crossing over culturally and economically.

It’s all bravado—but it’s all rooted in truth. That’s what makes it earned.

Even the flexes hold depth. Lines like “Felonies that’s older than y’all” and “Used to have a killer crossover, now I think I done crossed over” speak to transition, not ego. Its growth. It’s the story of a man who outlasted the version of himself that was never supposed to make it this far.

And that’s why this song hits for me.

In my Equalized Outdoors journey, the foundation has always been belief—belief before the numbers, before the recognition, before anything felt secure. And like Chainz, I’m learning that confidence isn’t arrogance when it’s built on sweat, sacrifice, and scars. Sometimes you have to remind yourself that the doors “go that way” because you earned the right to step through them.

This record is a reminder: You have to be your first believer, your loudest supporter, and your own proof that the grind is working.

The luxury imagery is fun—but the message is the fuel: Believe in yourself. Who else gon’ believe in you?

This week, let that loop in your head while you work, create, lift, edit, or think about your next move. You don’t need applause to validate your journey.

Just belief. And a little earned bravado to carry you through.
