Equalized Outdoors Welcomes Cliff Cadet as Contributing Writer, Launches New Hunter Spotlight Series

Fort Worth, Texas; Queens, NYC, New York— June 18, 2026 — Equalized Outdoors is proud to announce that Cliff Cadet has joined the publication as a contributing writer and will lead a new editorial initiative focused on elevating voices that deserve broader visibility across the outdoor space.

The new Hunter Spotlight Series will feature stories from hunters and outdoor participants whose experiences are too often overlooked in traditional outdoor media. Through short-form features, personal narratives, and field-driven storytelling, the series will highlight the people helping shape the future of hunting and conservation from every background, region, and path into the outdoors.

Cadet brings a perspective that aligns with Equalized Outdoors’ mission of making the outdoors more accessible, understandable, and representative of the people who participate in it today.

Host of the NYC Bowhunting Podcast Cliff Cadet

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and now residing in Queens with his wife and children, Cadet did not grow up immersed in outdoor culture. He began his bowhunting journey in 2019 and quickly developed a passion not only for the pursuit itself, but for documenting and sharing the experience with others entering the space.

Known among friends and family as Dark Arrow, Black Hawkeye, and Robbin’ Da Hood, Cadet has become recognized for offering a fresh, approachable perspective on bowhunting and outdoor participation.

His work has previously appeared in Outdoor Life, and he also co-hosts The NYC Bowhunting Podcast, where he explores hunting culture through a distinctly urban lens while connecting new and experienced hunters alike.

“Storytelling has always been one of the strongest tools we have to grow hunting and conservation,” said Equalized Outdoors founder Justin Campbell, “Cliff brings authenticity, curiosity, and a perspective that reflects the reality of who hunters are today. This series is about showcasing people whose stories deserve to be told and making sure the future of outdoor media reflects the community it serves."

Cliff Cadet's Hunter Spotlight Series will begin publishing through Equalized Outdoors in the coming weeks and will feature conversations and profiles from across the hunting community.

Equalized Outdoors encourages readers who have a story worth sharing—or know someone who does—to follow upcoming announcements and opportunities to participate.
