We know you're into trapping...so what animals do you trap and how'd you get into it?
"I trap a little bit of everything...coyotes, bobcats, beavers, otters, raccoons, foxes, wild hogs, snapping turtles, and even honeybees! I actually got into trapping by way of my love for the wild turkey! I learned that trapping could be used as a tool to help wild turkey populations. If you remove more nest predators, there's literally less predation of wild turkey nests, you get more successful hatches and end up with more turkeys."
Trapping over everything??? Or do you prefer another method of hunting?
"My favorite thing to hunt period is the wild turkey. So, if we're talking turkey, then that's at the top of my list! However, if we're talking about coyotes, I'm gonna' pick the trap over the rifle. That trap will essentially be out there 'hunting' for me all day and night. It's no small feat tricking a slick ole Wile E. Coyote to step on the pan of your trap. Think about it...in this whole wide world...you're trying to convince that coyote to step on a 2-inch circle. That alone, makes every coyote catch rewarding!"
